What to Expect from the Ethnic Eats in Over the Rhine Food Tour
Come and explore the pages of history as we stroll through Over the Rhine, just a few blocks north of downtown Cincinnati. We begin in beautiful Washington Park dating back to the Victorian era, complete with a bandstand, fountains, statues and majestic trees. Dine in beautiful restored Italianate buildings which were former tenements and corner convenience stores. Hear the clang clang of the trolley as the Cincinnati Streetcar whizzes by. See urban renewal take place right before your eyes, as we walk the streets of Cincinnati's hottest new neighborhood. See shops owned by budding entrepreneurs and local artisans featuring one of a kind items. Receive a food guide with ideas and tips to extend your afternoon journey into the evening.
Along the way, we'll sink our teeth into exciting food from five different ethnic locations. Our various restaurants on the tour may feature Hawaiian Asian cuisine, dishes from Venezuela, Indian inspired Tikka Masala, see and taste sushi made before our eyes, or try Okonomiyaki - a Japanese pancake, sample authentic tacos with salsa made from an old family recipe. We always end our tours with a sweet dessert and nothing is sweeter than Mediterranean baklava.
